While working as an educator, Robert Munsch was encouraged to publish the many stories he made up for the children he worked with, and the result is a literary library of lasting treasures that have charmed all they touched for many years.  Known for his exuberant storytelling methods, with exaggerated expressions, and acted voices, Munsch's stories were created in front of audiences, and then refined into the published versions through repeated tellings.
